Pratolungo e Agrano

Pratolungo, a hamlet of Pettenasco, is located in an excellent panoramic position. Today it is an elegant residential area, far from the noisy railway and the busy lakeside road. In the past it was renowned for its orchards and lush vineyards. Nearby is Agrano, a hamlet of Omegna, also a residential area with peasant origins. It is known for hosting the famous “Morta di Agrano”: a woman whose body was found mummified in 1792, who became an object of superstition and devotion among the locals.
