Roman Bridge Ameno

Ameno is located on a plateau sloping to the south-east on the eastern shore of Lake Orta, along the medieval road that connected Gozzano to Orta San Giulio.

In the hamlet of Pezzasco, immersed in the verdant Agogna Valley, there is the ancient Roman bridge, still accessible today. The area is rich in chestnut, beech, pine and birch woods, a perfect place for a walk, mountain bike or horseback ride.
